Battery Change & Pressure Tested Reseal

Service Description

More than just a battery. This is our complete battery and Reseal service that includes a battery replacement, ultrasonic cleaning of the watch case and bracelet (where applicable) and a comprehensive pressure test and reseal for depths and pressure up to 1250m / 125Bar. Perfect for maintaining the integrity and appearance of your timepiece before return via secured postage. We always aim for a 3 (working) day turn around time on our Battery, Pressure Test and Reseal service from the date we receive your timepiece. When your watch arrives at our workshop we perform comprehensive testing of both the case and movement using state of the art machinery . Before we change the battery we will test your case for water resistance using cutting edge dry pressure and vacuum technology, this will determine if your watch case is in any way compromised. Upon successful completion of the first stage of testing, we then perform diagnostics on the various components of the piece including both the circuit board and coil to ensure these are performing within the correct parameters. If no underlying faults are highlighted and our technicians deem this movement to be performing as stated by the manufacturer, we will then perform a full ultrasonic clean of both the (empty) watch case and bracelet (where applicable) before being re assembled, with a new Swiss silver cell Renatta battery and ISO certified caseback gasket fitted before the watch is pressure tested up to a depth / pressure of 1250m / 125BAR, once again. The watch is then time tested for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure all complications are functioning correctly. After passing this final stage, the watch is then sent back to yourself using fully tracked 24 hour postage insured up to £2,500.
