I am Alex Entwistle, a watch collector, horological enthusiast, passionate technician. I launched Manchester Timekeeper in 2021 and the aim was simple. To offer affordable, high quality, highly accurate, practical, functional and affordable hand assembled wristwatches.

As said, affordability is the primary driver here at Manchester Timekeeper. We believe luxury horology can be achieved without extraordinarily high price tags.

I started my journey as many people do in the world of 'Seiko modding', modifying original Seiko watches with custom aftermarket parts which is a very big sub sector within the world of watch collecting. It was not long after this that I made the decision to leave my previous career and start fresh. I joined a prestigious high street luxury watch retailer where I gained a deep understanding of what big Swiss brands offer the consumer, their pricing structure, manufacturing capabilities and quality control 
 

Having worked in the worked in the luxury watch retail industry for a number of years,  my passion for the technical aspect and the joy of assembling still was always at the forefront of my driving ambition, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to join a very well known and highly reputable watch repair company where I underwent enhanced horological training.

I believe that luxury affordable watches are in fact a possibility and at Manchester Timekeeper, we specialise in small batch, hand assembled, luxury timepieces.
